Learning Areas Curriculum Tracking Sheet Level 2 – PDF Download

This resource is used to support the tracking of Level 2 New Zealand curriculum coverage in conjunction with the use of narrative assessments in a play-based primary school environment.  Teachers can hyperlink learning stories alongside the relevant curriculum strand, or record the date or coverage of the strand as it is observed in play.  Gaps in coverage can then be identified, with teachers, as a result, being able to introduce curriculum-related play invitations to support the exploration of these areas not otherwise observed in their students’ play.
